It's Becoming Apparent...
...that there is very little chance of Brett Favre becoming a Viking.
Does anyone else think that Brett Favre deserves whatever he gets (or doesn't get)?
I have to admit...it would be very fun to see ol' Brett in purple and gold!

I'm torn...would he give us a legit shot at the Superbowl or just be a huge distraction. I kinda wish he would stay retired, cause whatever he does won't stack up the Green Bay legend.
Oh, it's not so much the Super Bowl shot and how it affects the chances of the Vikings. Don't you think it would just be outstanding to see Packer fans tormented by their favorite son suiting up for the enemy?
I confess, I have a sick fascination with that possibility!
I hadn't thought of it that way...my selfish nature I guess. Yes, there would be a certain joy in packer backer anguish.
Oh, by the way, I got to drive by your church a couple weekends ago. We visited my 'adopted' parents for Garrison Days. If it were on Sunday, I would have visited.
You have to remember that I'm not a Minnesotan by birth...only for the last three years. I'm more of an amused outsider who certainly delights in the foibles of Packer fans more than those of Viking fans!

We did see the kids, so after the parade we scooted out to see the church.
